Im totaly fed up on to get all my 9 PvE characters to R7 to get go on on PvE story line ... I have played 6 chars on whole storyline off Factation .. but in those rank things, Hmm to all my characters ... OMG never gonna do that so ... its only PvP or .. something else.

SO PLZ do something on those rank needeed to go on mission ... its totaly ***** something when u have many PvE characters to do it.

Anyway, I guess you're kinda right, but in my opinion, they should've made the Sunspear Spearmarshal more points, at least 100,000. It's easy to obtain, even though it's not even possible currently, I'm very sure those last points will be easy to obtain, even after it's been made possible.

/signed - But that doesn't mean ANet should put alot of time in this, I'd much rather have the title fixed instead.

i have to agree with maxiemonster. are they gonna change somethign about making it possible to reach spearmarshal tho? i heard of something that it is possible now, but how do you get more points if they dont give you blessings anymore?

The only titles that really mean anything to me are Skill Hunter, and Lightbringer. The reason, because I know that someone with skill hunter is most likely able to use various builds, and someone with lightbringer can help me kill demons.

Now I'm a Sunspear General. Does this mean that I'm "1337"? No, it means I just did quests and killed stuff. Anyone who sees the title should know this, and not care about the title.

Sunspear Ranks are fine the way they are.

Interesting. the ones I am interested in are cartographer (showing a knowledge of both running and fighting in various areas) and protector (dedication to a particular character- you don't get Protector of Cantha for a character unless you ENJOY playing that character.)

Lightbringer? I see a lot of R4/R5, which means nothing really. I have R4, and did it without farming mobs. And seeing anyone Lightbringer 6 or higher? My first assumption is "AFK farmer, exploiter, cheat." Whether or not they DID exploit and AFK-farm is irrelevant: enough did that the title track is cheapened.

Skill Hunter? If you take the time and effort to collect all the elites needed for that, then you must have put a lot of time and effort into that character. That impresses me more than Lightbringer or Sunspear ranks.

I know what you mean about the titles, but I still think the sunspear track is okay how it is. I mean, titles are always evolving, and you can't expect every single one to stay around (4) or (5).

Isnt this entire thread a bit void, as there isnt a way to even achieve the highest rank yet.

No ones going to be walking around with the max title anyway.

And considering they increased the lightbringer lvls, chances are they will do the same to the sunspear ones.

All that the Lightbringer title means to me is that they an increased survivability against demons. I don't, however, consider the people with it to be always good players.
